Reliability Built on Infrastructure: From the RAF to SCCI Alphatrack

The Foundation

My career didn't start in a boardroom; it started in the Royal Air Force. Serving as a Communication Systems Engineer and Satellite Communications Specialist with 90 Signals Unit, I learned early on that when communication systems fail, the mission fails. Whether it was ensuring satellite links stayed live or managing complex motorway fiber networks for Peek/Imtech Traffic, my career has been defined by one thing: Critical Infrastructure.

After years of running a successful family network business with my father, I joined SCCI Alphatrack to bring that same level of precision and stability to the pre-construction sector.

Solving the "Unseen" Puzzle

I view every new project—whether it’s a high-density MDU, a government facility, or a Tier 4 Data Centre—as a puzzle with no picture on the box.

My approach is built on Out-of-the-Box Thinking. I don’t just look at a floor plan; I look at how the building needs to "breathe" data ten years from now. I dive into the granular details to find the elegant solutions that others often overlook, ensuring that the infrastructure we design today won’t be obsolete tomorrow.

A Commitment to the Finish Line

In the construction world, mistakes happen—but how you handle them defines your reputation. I’ve seen competitors walk away or shift blame when challenges arise. At SCCI Alphatrack, my philosophy is different: We stay until the job is done. I pride myself on being the person you want in your armory. My mission is to provide comprehensive, fair, and technically superior solutions that allow my clients to sleep soundly, knowing the "nervous system" of their project is in expert hands.

Beyond the Blueprint

When I’m not analyzing schematics for office refits or school networks, I serve as a Sergeant in the RAFAC at 158 SQN Braintree and District.

For the past four years, I’ve had the privilege of mentoring cadets through their most formative years. Watching a 12-year-old grow into a confident young adult headed for university or a career is the most rewarding "long-term project" I’ve ever been a part of. That same drive to develop, advise, and lead is what I bring to every professional partnership I form.
